Paul Nicholson had an early career in the UK service industry prior to joining the UME Group in 1985, where he was initially employed as Financial Controller for one of the Middle Eastern Hospital Projects. Subsequently he took up a Corporate Finance role, a position he held until his return to the UK headquarters some 4 years later.Whilst in the UK Paul gained further experience in both the public & private Healthcare sectors and developing a number of schemes under the governments Private Finance Initiative (PFI).
He was a lead member of the UME team that conceptualized a major hospital support service project in Malaysia that was awarded in 1997. At the time of award, this project was the largest of it's kind in the world.
