Doug Carlisle joined UME in 2007 to manage UME Consulting, a division of the UME group of companies. UME consultancy services provides solutions to many of the complex issues facing health organisations from strategic direction, capacity, and service reviews to working on Trust, PCT or bidder side on PFI, LIFT and Procure 21 capital schemes.Doug's consultancy experience is complemented by over 20 years experience in working in the public sector including his role as an Executive Director of a large acute NHS Trust. He has also developed an international reputation as a PPP keynote speaker. He has spoken at conferences in Trinidad, Portugal and the Czech Republic.. He is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Management, Fellow of the Institute of Medical Sciences and is a Non-Executive Director of a Housing Association.
