Andrew Andreou qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1983. Since then he has held a number of senior executive positions in the financial services sector, which include acting as Director of Finance for a major division of ABN AMRO bank and Chief Financial Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald, the US broker / dealer, in Europe and Asia.

He has gained a wealth of experience in the overall financial management of complex, fast moving, internationally structured businesses. This includes the establishment of new businesses and restructuring existing businesses. Notable capital markets experience includes the raising of finance at Mitsubishi Corporation by issuing bonds and establishing other financing programmes.

Andrew joined United Medical Enterprises Ltd in 2001 as Managing Director of its investment business. His principle focus has been on the development of PFI / PPP projects in the Healthcare sector. He has also played a key role in the expansion of the business into the health sector, notably by establishment of Primary Care development and also Diagnostic and Imaging businesses.
