Tower Hamlets PCT and the London Borough of Tower
Hamlets have developed a joint 10 year strategy for
improving health and well being in Tower Hamlets. This
strategy envisages a new model of integrated and
modernised services to be available near peoples' homes.
The first of these developments consists of a primary
healthcare centre plus housing.

New4Old is Croydon Council's modernisation programme for residential and day

Resource Centre, Langley Oaks Elderly Mentally Frail Resource Centre, Heavers
Farm Resource Centre for the Elderly Mentally Frail and Addington Heights
Resource Centre for Elderly Physically Frail.

A restored listed building provides, accommodation for the Primary Care Trust’s headquarters.

This state of the art facility brings together neurorehabilitation and neuropsychiatry services, currently being
delivered over several locations in the North East of England. When opened late 2006 it will be a centre of
excellence for the provision of stroke and head injury victims.
